Will we finally get a black ocean band?

Now with a rumored AWU2 in some sort of black coating, do you think it’s possible we will finally get a black ocean band? I hope they don’t coat the buckle and strap loop black though, as all coatings will wear off especially in areas prone to rub things like when you set your hands on the desk to type, etc.
Are there any rumors on new bands for the AWU2?

Generally I don’t get Apples love for midnight and hate for black. Just normal leather links or sport bands etc. often have a dark blue AND a midnight colour option and no black. Midnight is nowhere near black - stop treating it like a viable alternative
