How likely is it that Apple will issue a last point update to SL?

The last update 10.6.8 v1.1 updater, killed my screen sharing on my internal network. Back to my mac still works but if im on the same network the app will actually crash and issue a report to Apple.

Im hoping they will do one last update to really combine all the last little fixes and leave us with something stable.

Just for record...
10.5.8 came out in August '09 - same month as SL release.

10.4.11 came out in November '07 - a month after leopard was released.

I hope so. 10.6.8 is ungodly slow and I am constantly getting a dropped wireless connection.

After installing the 10.6.8 v1.1 update, Time Machine suddenly refused to backup my MacBook Pro to my server and then today decided that it would not mount shares from my server at all.

From reading around, most issues with 10.6.8 v1.1 are networking related, so I looked further in System Preferences > Networking, and it seems the problem lies (for me at least) with IPv6.

Turning IPv6 off in System Preferences > Network > Advanced : Configure IPv6 solved these problems.

Configure IPv6 was originally set to "Automatically". As our ISP does not support IPv6, I have no need for IPv6. If you require IPv6, configuring it manually *may* help.
