There will be a iphone C.

It looks like Apple will release a ipad mini retina.

Could this mean that apple will drop the ipad mini classic and that it will release an Ipad mini C with a " plastic" shell in different colors. It would be cheaper than the ipad mini classic.

Perhaps they could even drop the old regular ipads(ipad 1 and 2) and replace them with the new styled ipad case in a plastic shell in different colors without a retina screen, for less money.

Would make sense, would it? Or don' t you think so?

Apple is making an iPhone 5C because

1) It wants to hit markets in Brazil, China, India, Russia, etc. Current iPhones just cost way to much.
2) It wants to get rid of legacy tech currently in the iPhone 4 and 4S (30-pin connector)

More likely what Apple will do is...

Lower the price of the current iPad Mini, drop the iPad 2, and have the iPad Mini 2 replace the iPad 2's price point.

In a way yes it could be a yes and no. It could be a system very similar to iphones.

They could have the original ipad mini move to $199-$229, have a non-retina ipad mini 2 ( with A6/A6X) to a price point $279-$329 and finally have a retina ipad mini 2 ( with A6 or A7 variants) at $359-$399. Should help them address all the markets tactfully.

Too many products and tramples all over iPod touch.

Apple selling non-retina stuff makes no sense at all. Offering second class devices only kills the image of a company offering premium products. The logo is part of what one is paying for. Making the logo worth less, reduces all Apple products worth.
