Does anyone think saurik will make a package to fix the SSL bug on 6.0-6.1.5/7.0-7.0.5 for jailbreakers that do not want to update?

(Few years ago he released a PDF exploit fix before Apple did)

I would also like to know as it simply makes life easier with multiple devices.

I decided that it was not worth the risk of waiting to see.
Seeing how fast Apple stopped signing 7.0.4 within a couple of hours with this release, who knows when the next one will drop.
Cold Minnesota day outside and nothing better to do for a few hours so now all our idevices are on 7.0.6 and jailbroken & backup restored.

It's not that I don't find the repo. The fix is bound to pre 7.0.6 and won't let me install on 7.1beta 2

Help

I'm still on 6.1.2 and applied SSLPatch 0.1. The test at gotofail.com now passes. A big Thank You to Ryan Petrich!!!

It's only a band aid though as it does not modify system files, it does not work in safe-mode or apps which work in root such as cydia and ifile.

For a complete fix a restore is required, but this at least should cover most situations.

Ideal for older devices and for people who 'need' to stay on 6.x

Will we the get SSL fix in form of a cydia package?

I just went to gotofail.com after install the patch...and it says "safe" :^}

edit: my iPhone running on iOS 7.0.4
