I have a family member who wants to use my 20 inch cinema display (apple) from 2005 on a Windows 10 machine with modern GPU as a second monitor.

Yes, we have the displayport to DVI converter.

However, that ACD was an odd 1680x1050. Will Windows run it at that native resolution? I don't have a way to check and hate to haul it to them if it won't run at its native resolution.

Thank you.

1680x1050 is a standard resolution for older 20 inch displays. I use an old Samsung on a Windows system at that resolution without a problem.
