will windows/bootcamp stop working if i clean install tiger?

i got leopard... it worked great until one day.... now, its not working, tries to boot up and then computer just turns off, i believe its a hard drive corruption. I lost my leopard disc. what i really want to do now is reformat and install Tiger (cuz i have a tiger disc).

If I do so, will i lose windows? (bootcamp not in beta anymore, so maybe windows wont work if i install tiger?)

Bootcamp was only required (strictly speaking only helpful) to install Windows, not to run it. So, I guess it depends on what is wrong with your harddrive. If just the Mac partition is corrupt, it may be sufficient to reformat this partition and install Tiger. If it's a problem that affects both harddrive partitions, you'll have to reinstall windows as well...
