I have the Beta installed and just read an overview of the new features and to be honest I don't think I'll use any of the new features regularly at all.

Small things matter. I care more about those than the Crystal Pepsi poured over the OS.

Call screening
Tap to call recents
Background processing
Snooze durations
Typing indicators in group texts

And waiting to see what people do with it: Shortcuts app can use Apple Intelligence

Actually now I've looked a little deeper I will use call screening, and tap to call recents. I've never used Shortcuts as I don't know how to use it, but with Apple Intelligence I might take a closer look at it.

Only thing I saw of interest was call screening, which hopefully I'll be allowed to enable on my work phone. I can't enable the block unknown callers feature as about 90% of my legitimate daily calls are from unknown numbers.

I don't really get spam calls on my personal device anymore. Sure do get a lot of weird junk texts though, like "are you coming over for chili this evening?" from an area code on the other side of the country.

I'll be disabling the transparency.

Edit: The CarPlay updates look nice!

Nothing really but I also don’t do phone calls if I can avoid it. Maybe its starting to be an age thing but it is becoming harder for me to change habits like I have been using my iPhone the exact same way for years. I haven’t even bothered to update my control center since I hardly ever open it.

I already got used to the new look though. I can actually hardly remember what it even looked like before and it’s only been a week 😅

Automix is the most useful feature to me. I like the 3D photo effect but it’s kind of a gimmick. I like the unified phone app and clear icons. I also like the enhanced files app. So yeah I use a lot of features.

Isn’t the Photos app improved over iOS 18?

Hold Assist is nice if it works, which I’m skeptical about for holding loops that try to be maximally distracting with various spoken parts.

Call History might be mildly useful.

Shortcuts functionality could be useful but we’ll have to see.

Managing AutoFill Credit Cards in Wallet should have been there years ago, I’m glad that it’s coming.

I’m not sure why Preview in Files is now its own thing, since Files was already able to display PDFs and the like.

The enhanced battery analytics are a good thing.

Password history could be useful, though I haven’t needed it in the past.

Dictation supporting spelling will be helpful.

Accessibility Reader is something I might use.

I don't think this has ever happened to me before, but I carefully investigated all the new features and I can't find a single one that I'll use or need. I'll probably use the wrist flick gesture on my watch and for that I'll need to install the new iOS first, but if we just talk about iOS, this update is completely useless for me.

Call screening for me & the photo clean up is only things I’d regularly use. Rest doesn’t interest me at all

I still use apps and folders on the home pages, like all 100 apps on my phone. I never have used the app library. I generally don't use a ton of the new features with each release, maybe a few. I will use the call screening, and tap to call recents, and I'll definitely keep using the Image Playground app but I think the novelty will wear off after awhile.
