Anybody here actually not upgrading and keeping your iphone 4? wether due to you love your 4 and don't see any reason to upgrade? you are waiting til your contract is up? or you simply don't have the money?

I think for most people that already own an iPhone 4, it would depend on what features the iPhone 5 has, and since no one knows that, the poll is kinda pointless.

If there is no bigger screen on the new iPhone then no I will not be upgrading. Shoot, I may even be switching to andriod instead

Truth
How can this be answered intelligently without knowing what the next thing is?
Some may be upgrading regardless
Some may be NOT upgrading regardless
But many (me) will wait and see what the darn thing really is before deciding

Maybe so but alot have it set in stone what they are doing based on rumours and expection.

Different type of question and different questions in the poll.

Looking again, I guess so. (removed my post for you)

But my objections still exist.

1) Why do we have polls like this before the device is even announced
2) Why do we have polls that ask the same question in a million different ways with just the slightest differences

You'd think several members of this forum work for consumer research firms or something.

First off I wasn't aware of that other thread and techinally it is different and to answer the 1st question to keep things ticking by.

When it's out alot of threads posted won't be posted. This one though could last a while as i just wanted to see how many plan to keep the 4 and wether they are due to contact reasons or money issues.

Like myself I won't upgrade straight away due to not having the cash.

Not upgrading. My VZ contract isn't up until late 2012. Definitely not spending the money on an unsubsidized phone - too much $$$.

Will go for iPhone6, or whatever the upgrade after iPhone 4S/5 is called.

No real poll option for what i'm doing.

I'm on a 12 month contract and won't have anything other than an iPhone so i'll be getting the new iPhone in february, regardless of whether it is a major or minor upgrade. Any sort of an upgrade is a welcome one.

This wait will give me time to use one first, and give apple time to work out any problems that may arise, like with the iPhone 4.

As there's no real poll option for me, i guess i can't vote, unless it is amended to include an option for people who's contracts aren't up for some time yet.
