Will you do a commercial for Microsoft?

hello,

was wondering if you got job offer or you looked for will you take an ad for Microsoft, I don't want to show as apple fan but i don't like misleading people :p
 
I'm going to assume the OP's question was:

"If Microsoft offered you a chance to star in a Laptop Hunters commercial, would you do it?"

To which I'd have to think about it. On the one hand, it's a commercial, and I'd be famous ;) And paid. On the other hand, I think my name would be dredged through the mud in Windows and Mac forums all over the internet.

Perhaps the OP didn't mean "Laptop Hunters" specifically. If it was a commercial for some other Microsoft product? Maybe...
 
Sure - why not? It's a free computer. I'd just wipe Windows off it and install a flavor of UNIX anyway.
 
Hmm... free money, a free computer, and being famous. Is that worth it?

Truthfully, for me... probably "no". The amount of flak I would get for doing it would be ridiculous. Not only that, but it just wouldn't feel right -- Apple as a brand really means a lot to me (as corny as that may sound).

Plus, they're all actors anyway (as Lauren helped reveal).
 
Reminds me of the story/joke of the man who propositioned a girl:

"Would you sleep with me for one million dollars?"

"Why, yes I would!"

"Great! Would you do it for ten bucks?"

"What! No! What kind of girl do you think I am?!??"

"We already established that -- now we are in the negotiating phase."​

So, you get a blah blah laptop and a thousand bucks... Worth it? Nah.
 
sure, i get a free computer, free cash etc. I might get a lot of crap coming my way cuz i did that but seriously, anyone else offered a job like that would take it. I don't mind if its a windows machine.
 
I didn't mean laptop hunter, what let me start the thread is that i sow a mac youtuber (olgakay) to make a commercial for Microsoft, now I kind of don't blame her she make her living on making ads and making video's on youtube but what if you didn't really need the money that much would you do it. For me I will do it on one condition, if it was the laptop hunters i would take PC and sell it on public and get mac (after the ad of course) or maybe just take the HDD, RAM and things i can get something from it and throw the PC :p (which I would probably do).

2nd option is if it was other kind of commercial I would take money and make an Apple ad also :p
 
Yes, I would. If they want to give me a computer that works and money on top of that, it's all good. Who cares which OS it runs? Both of them work fine and I can do the same on each.
 
hmm it's not about fanboyism it's like hmm, I'm not from US but i heard/read a lot that AT&T is pain in A$$, so it's like making ad for AT&T :p
 
I would yes. I use XP every day and it's by far one of the most stable and best performing OS's I've used. Even if Vista is a POS.

but it lack from features and it's even not as stable as OS X :p it's like having slow car and you say i never had any problems of course you won't because you won't drive fast which damages the tires and other parts.


I have been windows users since i was born because i didn't have a choice i never knew about mac os x, I just switched from windows last Jan
 
So that people can say:

"Hey, that's the ###### of that Microsoft commercial hahahahha!"

On the other hand, it would be cool to do another ad for Apple after a week and say show people the state of the PC after one week of usage. Then we'd see how effective the Microsoft ads would be.
