I'll take my chances with the tooth fairy. :p

I don't want to spend $ on Gevey and have it not work since I'm not in the US. Plus, even in the US why chance getting a citation for misuse of an emergency #.

1. 112 is a universal number. Doesn't matter if you're in the US or not.

2. You only call for 2 seconds. NOT until it connects. Even then, you only do it ONCE and forget about it. Unless your battery dies or you do a reboot.

3. Have it your way. I'd rather use my phone than have a $500 paper weight.

yep im not happy about the calling 112 thing, this is the main reason from keeping me from buying the gevey sim

i will ride it out till there is unlock+ untethered jailbreak - otherwise im quite happy on 4.2.1;

when IP5 comes out - i will definitely buy it on the carrier i wish to have my main mobile account with

gevey sim

I finally decided to get mine and i dont regret it at all.
The sim works great ( 3G enabled)
About calling 112: you dont actually have to call that number at all.
Just press 112 and hang up ( long before it connects) and the unlock is activated. Downside is that you have to do this every time you switch the phone off, so i just leave mine on all the time. Btw i paid 39 bux for the gevey @ unlockaniphone dot org
