Merry Christmas Eve!
I am Will, the developer of WilliWidgets, which is an app that allows you to place various premade widget and then customize them with Widget Themes!
I brought back one of the most useful use case for Widgets, a Santa Tracker widget. As far as I know, Santa has never been tracked in an iOS/macOS widget besides with WilliWidgets, and I plan on continuing to track him in WilliWidgets!
apps.apple.com
As soon as you place it, you will see a little map showing where Santa is located, along with where he was last seen and where he will be going next, along with his estimated time to getting to the next location.
And just like with all the other widgets, you are able to customize the widget to make it your own.
The idea behind this was that families often want to look to see where Santa is multiple times a day, so they open their web browser, and go to the Santa tracker, wait for it to load, and then they are finally able to see it. My idea was why not just let users place a widget once, and then they are able to see exactly where Santa is much quicker. This is what widgets were made for!
It is available on iOS, macOS, watchOS, and visionOS!
Let me know if you have any feedback or have any questions! I am eager to make this widget even better next year with any feedback possible!
And here is a download for the app:
