Recently the wifi networking under win 7 stopped working under bootcamp on my Mac pro. It works fine under os x ... 10.8.2, though just upgraded to 10.8.3 today.
Win 7 was working fine, wifi was working, vm ware usage of the bootcamp partition was working. At some point wifi stopped working when booting directly into win 7 but it works ok under vm ware.
I don't think I did anything installation wise related to wifi. I installed some steam games that were all working ok.
I reinstalled the bootcamp drivers but that didn't do anything.
It can connect to the router ok. It even shows a few bytes sent and received but I really mean bytes. A couple hundred? Anyway my guess is those are from the router itself.
The only odd situation was I hadn't bothered to validate my installation for a long time. It would complain but I didn't register. When it stopped working (wifi) I thought maybe win 7 shut it off for that reason so I called the phone line to validate it. Unfortunately that didn't do anything to fix it.
Any ideas? My next step is redownloading newer bootcamp drivers for 10.8.3 but I'm not sure they will be new for win 7. After that I may resort to a full reinstall as everything was working originally if no one has any ideas.
I'm running on a Mac pro 2009 with internal apple wifi card, I believe the Broadcom one.
