I'm having some problems getting Windows 8 to run on my 2012 MB Air via Bootcamp. It successfully installs, but after a few minutes running Win 8 the entire screen goes completely black! Here's what I've tried so far to fix it:

1. Scrap everything and start over with a new partition and install. No change.
2. Updated graphics drivers from Intel site directly. Causes BSOD, same result if installed through Safe Mode.
3. Installed Bootcamp for Windows drivers via Windows Support folder created by the original Bootcamp installation. No change.
4. Run Windows Update. Immediately causes black screen when attempted, not available through Safe Mode.

I'm thinking the issue has to be a hardware conflict, but I can't come up with a way to get updated drivers installed correctly/a stable install.

Anybody else run into this issue or have any ideas?
