trying to get a handle on which Macbook with closest spec still has drivers for XP, the current mac book and MBP 13"?

Installing the OS itself isnt an issue and boots quick enough (around 20 seconds) but lack of apple supported drivers for the Air has left me trying to pin down above info to see if I can dig out someone who has neccessary machine to snag a loan of them off of

The following workaround should work: If you install Windows 7 on the Air, are you allowed to burn the downloaded drivers to a DVD?

If the answer is YES, do so and use those drivers in XP.
