Hi there, long time lurker, first time poster. I'll try to keep my situation as concise as possible.

I have a 2009 15" unibody MBP, running Win7 64bit under bootcamp.

-this issue started about a week ago
-when running windows while plugged into the AC adapter my status says "xx% plugged in, not charging" and the % drops steadily as if i am running off battery power.
-once i get to 0% the laptop shuts off without warning or attempting to hibernate
-if i am running under OSX it charges as normal
-if i shut the machine down and leave it plugged in it charges as normal
-the battery has only 50 cycles on it so far

i have found other people with similar problems under win7 and vista, and most of them have resolved the issue by a process of removing the battery, starting up from AC power, uninstalling the ACPI power management under device manager and then reversing the process..
HOWEVER none of these people have been in the position i am in where i have unibody and therefor can't just take the battery out so easily. :(

has anyone else been in this position? i am desperate for assistance

thank you in advance for any ideas or help

cheers,
neunen
