I am currently running Win7 Pro. I have a PPTP VPN set up using the provided VPN that is built into Win7. The VPN works correctly and I am able to connect via Iphone 5s. I am frustrated by my current speeds. I usually get about 50 mbps on my PC that is running the VPN and about 15-20 mbps on LTE through ATT. My speeds drops to .5-1 mbps when I connect through the VPN. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can speed up my connection. I understand that the speed depends on my cell service, but I would love to get 3-5 mbps that would be an improvement over what I have now.

If it's a free VPN, it's obviously slow, since so many others are using it.

Myself, I use a paid L2TP VPN service and get around almost full speeds every time.
