So i searched around and did not find a definitive guide for this.
How can i install Windows 7 x64 from USB stick on an 2012 iMac with no dvd drive?

In the bootcamp 5 manual it says the option to "create a windows disk on usb may exist", which is not too clear.

Thx!

Mount the Win7 ISO onto a USB stick. That's what it means by "create a windows disk on usb may exist".

Let me know if you need any clarification.

Bootcamp makes the stick also bootable?
Is using the Windows 7 USB installer tool an option?

Or you mean only copying the ISO folder structure onto the stick suffices?

Worked OK.
All what's needed is the Win7 ISO file and a formatted USB stick.
