i am new to mac but good with computers..
one application... itune opens so big you can not see the little right triangle on the right bottom to size it smaller.. and i cant see the left side with the + button to add albums

ive tried to move it up.. hits the task bar.. ive closed the dock.. still doesnt show.. cant get to the bottom no matter what i do... please help.

also while im at it.. sometimes the window im in the font gets magnified.. not sure what im touching to do it. want to know. like right now how to decrease it.. its sooo big

This problem can be fixed several ways. The zoom method (clicking the green button) unfortunately doesn't work with iTunes, so you'll have to use one of the other two methods.

1. Move the iTunes preference file elsewhere (while iTunes is not running) then relaunch iTunes. You'll need to reset your preferences, but the window size should return to something reasonable.
2. For advanced users only: Edit the plist file, either with Property List Editor (the recommended way) or with the defaults command at the Terminal.

how do i move the itunes preference file... remember im new to mac

do i open itunes .. go to preferences and then what....

then do i have to move it back?

Changing the resolution of your main display may help solve this problem. Use System Preferences > Displays, then try a couple of different settings to see if this "bumps" your uncooperative window.

There is a much easier solution:

Just press alt and the green button and it resizes.

cheers.

BRILLIANT.. THANK YOU ALLL
