window disappearing problem

Mac 10.6.8
Some of the programs I trying to install makes me headache. For example I tried to install microsoft word and last I installed it successfully but when you running program for first time you must register it, and same window show up for moment and disappear so I don't have time to do it. And this is not the first program I have problem with, the same thing happened with Photoshop, but I needed just to confirm with one click so I did it very fast, but now with Office I have much work to do.
Please help, what can cause windows disappearing
