Have a friend with a new MacBook Pro. He also has an external display that goes with it. He uses mirroring quite a lot (where the two displays are both showing the same thing). However, when he turns mirroring off, half of the open windows stay over on the external display as it treats it like a second display. When he was using his PowerBook and turned mirroring off, then all the windows would jump back over to the notebook's main display where they were originally before mirroring had been turned on.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what setting could be causing this to happen?
