Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem and I haven't been able to find anything similar.
When I click on the Dock icon to open an application, the application opens. The problem is, its windows don't come to the front. When I cmd-tab, it is the last application in the list. So, if I'm browsing in Chrome and I click the System Prefs icon, no window immediately pops up. I have to use cmd-tab or Expose to navigate to it (or minimize my current window).

Anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks!

P.S. I'm running OS 10.6.8 on a MacBook Pro, if it helps

I restarted and it was fixed. Never mind! :/

Are you sure the application isn't already open? For instance, if you press cmd+w or the red x you will close the window not the application in most cases. You will have to use cmd+q to close the application. Check the open apps by holding cmd and pressing tab to cycle through. If the app is open, select it and press cmd+n to open a new window.
