Window Tiling

Just switched to Mac after a dozen years on linux and I'm enjoying it. The one thing I miss most is having dynamic window tiling. I'm using spectacle but it's not the same and can't find any options on Google. Are there any?

It's not clear if you mean in Finder or in a particular application. Perhaps if I was familiar with Spectacle, it would be clear.
