I just bought a new 13" rMBP. Because of work requirements, I need to run Visio and MS Project so I have VMWare Fusion 6 running on the MBP. I have a limited amount of disk space on this MBP (256 SSD) so I was thinking of off-loading the Window 7 VM to a 64 Gb PNY SDXC elite flash drive. Here are my questions:

1. What type of Windows performance will I encounter by running the VM on a flash drive (BTW the drive I am considering has a 90 mb/sec xfer rate).
2. Are there any known issues with this type of configuration of VMWare fusion running on an DXC flash drive?

thank you!

I tried it with Parallels and it ran ok but was a bit slow. If you have adequate memory allocated to the VM and don't punch it too hard it should be ok.
