Greetings.
A little annoying issue with my laptop. I have a 2015 13" retina Macbook pro. Dual i5, 8gb Ram, 1TB SSD running 10.11.6. I have the machine dual booting Windows 10 pro with OSX and my issue is the boot manager. I had this issue before, and after wiping the entire machine and reinstalling both OSX and windows the issue apparently went away and then returned. So i suspect windows update might be the culprit.
Anyways the issue i have is that my OSX partition is ALWAYS set to boot. As i only use windows from time to time. But what happens is when i do hold option and boot windows, the boot manager switches and when i reboot the machine from within windows, instead of booting back into OSX as it should and as the mac is set to and thinks it does, it boots back into windows automatically. It will proceed to do this until i go back into Start up and de-select OSX and then re select it to be main boot priority.
but once i boot back into OSX it does it again. Its really frustrating. I upgraded from my 2007 Macbook 3,1 and i had windows 7 then 10 even on it and windows was always hold option and OSX snow leopard always just booted in.
Any suggestions?
