Ok, I have been back on Windows for over a year now, but this is bothering me, and I don't know how to word it to try and find the solution.
Basically, when I drag an item to the Desktop from the Start Menu, most of the time, I get a nice full icon, such as with the Adobe and Office applications. However, on occasion when I do this the icon is shrunk down, and contained with a colored box for some reason?
The application is installed, and from I see within it and on the Start Menu it has a full sized icon but for some reason this is one of the applications that has this issue come up.
Is this intended? I tried searching for the application on the local disk but it doesn't appear. If anyone can offer insight that'd be fantastic.
