Hi all,
Thought I'd just post to warn people about this release. I'm not sure if this driver is responsible, or a recent Windows 10 update, but I ran into a serious issue when updating the driver.
If you're running Windows 10 and 385.41 or earlier, leave it there for now. I've been installing these drivers for nearly a year with no issues (Only the Display Driver / HD Audio Driver / PhysX driver, fresh install), but when installing this release, without warning the installer told me it needed to restart to continue. Since I did a fresh install, this removes the GPU drivers, and since I have a 1080 which can't be initialised by the Mac Pro firmware, the system couldn't show the display.
Luckily, I still have a Mac Edition 680. Unfortunately, this exposes a bug somewhere which causes the screen to blank after a minute or two, causing yet more issues.
I tried quite a few times to repair it, but to no avail. Even reinstalled Windows, but the same issue occurs.
So, While I try and work out what I'm going to do next, if you have a working system.. leave it alone lol
