...I dont know what prompted this since it was working fine before.
After I get the blue squares the screen goes black, computer turns off,and then I can only get the computer back by option restarting into OSX 10.11.2.

Late 15" 2014 rMBP
 
Which version is the version you are using? Windows 10 1511? Or Windows 10 build 10240?
As I am aware, Windows 10 1511 has introduced a screen before booting to welcome screen. That screen is the same screen you can see in Windows booting phase, but those dots may not rotate anyway. After a while, Windows 10 will go to welcome screen, or lock screen.

Well no it stays dark.....it practically turns the computer off
