Hi All,

I am trying to install Windows 10 on my 2014 MBP and it keeps failing to install at various points.

I am using BootCamp and it is either hanging on "Setup is Starting" or "Getting Ready" very early on after copying the files from the USB drive to the SSD.

I've ran Apple Diagnostics and no issues have been found but Windows 10 is failing to install.

I created the boot drive via BootCamp on macOS Big Sur 11.7.10.

Can anyone assist or point me to how on earth to get this installed?

TIA!

Hello, I have a macbook pro 2014 15" computer. But the temperature sensors show very high.

This is only the case for 2 values. The sensor values shown by the hot.app application are TH0F and TH0R.

If you have a similar computer, can you measure the sensor values with the hot.app free application?

Attached are my sensor values. When the computer first starts up and is idle, these two values show 85C.

would start with an image that is not the latest and see if this changes something for you, like 1903 or20H2 the like, and then update from there. also, would use a DVD image, burning the iso to DVD, instead of USB; just better experience this way overall, although it takes along time to load.
