Hello,

I created a USB with the Windows Tool of Windows 10 so that I can install it on an external Firewire drive. When I open bootcamp I click on next and get a message to download the windows 7 drivers only. The other option is grayed out. I then get a message about space that I need 50gb of space. I would appreciate some help I want to run Windows 10 from my external firewire drive and don't know what else to do. I am trying to do this on a 15" MacBook Pro 2.0ghz i7 early 2011

Windows isn't going to be able to boot from the firewire disk, which is one reason the Bootcamp Assistant isn't offering to let you do this.
