Hi guys,

I cannot get my Apple Magic Keyboard to connect to Windows 10. It will find the keyboard under the Bluetooth section but it fails to connect no matter how many times I try. I don't think it's drivers since I just ran the BootCamp utility today, I've also done the updates found on "Apple Software Updates" but it still doesn't work.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Definitely a drivers issue.

You need to get Windows drivers for the Keyboard.

They may be in the boot camp software. But you’ll need to extract the drivers from the boot camp software program.

Then point Windows to where those drivers are. It’s unfortunate that Apple plays the game different for their hardware. It’s really a simple task with other brands.

As for the method to extract drivers:

One method:

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/apple-keyboard-driver-for-windows-10.177040/

Another method:

https://superuser.com/questions/170...pple-magic-trackpad-on-a-pc-without-boot-camp

Adapt the steps in this last one to target the driver you are after for your keyboard.

Thanks for the guides. Unfortunately, neither are working for me. I'm going to try and find some more resolutions online but I'm having issues connecting both the Bluetooth Magic Mouse & Keyboard. I managed to go through the sign-up and passwords using the on-screen keyboard and a wired mouse but otherwise, I can't really do anything on Windows 10.

I've added a screenshot below, it shows up but when I attempt to connect it fails and gives the error "Check the PIN and try connecting again" I've used 0000 for the passcode but it still fails.

You're not alone with this problem.
There are many threads about it on ASC.
Here is one https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8257420
Seems to be something MS needs to fix.

Seems to be something MS needs to fix.

In the link you provided it seems due to a security update in Windows. However the producer of peripherals (in this case Apple) is responsible for making the correct drivers.

The magic mouse and keyboard only seem to fail to connect to Windows on newer Apple (i)Macs but not on older ones.
The problem only exists on Bootcamp and not if the Apple Keyboard and mouse are connected to another Windows PC (for instance a Dell) directly.
Also all other bluetooth devices besides the Apple keyboard/mouse (including those from other brands) seem to work fine.

Conclusion:
Does not seem like a general MS/Windows problem but like a driver problem.
Maybe Apple did not program those drivers strictly according to MS (security) guidelines? I don't want to play the blame game here, but if it is a driver problem Apple has to fix it.

The problem was resolved by updating to the "Insider Previews." The keyboard now connects correctly without any issue. I guess it had something to do with drivers but Microsoft has resolved the issue. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if Microsoft will issue the fix yet on the stable release so you may have to upgrade to Insiders if you want to use Windows with the BT devices.
