Hi,

I am trying to partition part of my drive for windows 10 but finding it quite difficult. I have followed all the videos to the point where I'm using boot camp assistant to install the windows iso but its not letting me choose it. Instead it comes up with The Installer Disc could not be found, install your windows installer disc and wait a few seconds for the disc to be recognised ? Even though its already been downloaded and moved to my desktop ? Any ideas or am I just being thick again lol :)

You need to mount the ISO by double clicking on it. And while it's true that Apple doesn't support installing 10 on your 2010 MBP, you can still attempt it if you are willing to take that risk. I know I've had no trouble installing 10 on a 2009 Mac Pro, it's just not validated/tested by Apple, so they don't support it.
