Hello
I got Windows 10 on my 13 inch MacBook Pro through Boot Camp, but I'm not quite sure if it works like it should.

The screen brightness and sound is not as bright and loud on 100% than on MacOS. I'm not sure if this a bug or just the software itself.

Also the computer is running pretty hot and have very low battery life, I know Windows is not made for Macs, but it's a lot.

Thanks in advance.

Have you installed the Boot Camp drivers?

Open Device Manager to make sure its clean and there are no exclamation marks.

Also, open Settings > System > Display to control your display brightness.

You can also click the battery icon to manage screen brightness located in the Notification area.

Also don't forget to disable Adaptive Brightness:

1) CMD + R to bring up Run
2) Type powercfg.cpl and press OK
3) Click Change plan settings for your selected power plan
4) Select Change advanced power settings
5) Expand Enable adaptive brightness
6) Turn off for both On battery and Plugged in

Thank you, I'll try that.

Not related to the brightness...but after installing one of the w10 updates, windows could not recognise my osx partition anymore...maybe it's fixed already...I'm not using windows anymore.

Same here on several Pros so it's a software issue.

I think the low volume limit is in response to the issues of speakers blowing in Boot Camp last year.

When you say blowing, is this actual damage or just not functioning?
