Windows 10 refuses to stay connected to WiFi on a '16 MBP

I recently installed Windows 10 to go on an external SSD and it keeps intermittently losing the internet connection. As a result it's impossible to update it and I've tried reinstalling Boot Camp drivers to no avail. The update that won't happen is in 2017 so I'm assuming I don't have the fall creator's update. Does anyone have any ideas?

You can try going into Device Manager, pull up the properties for the wireless adapter, and disable to option for allowing Windows to shut it off to save power. My wife's Lenovo did the same thing, and that fixed it.
