My cMP 4,1/5,1 will often hang while booting Win10. The Win10 boot screen is shown, but there are no swirling dots to show boot activity. Sometimes it will boot after it automatically takes me to the recovery/repair dialogue and I just choose to boot Windows normally. Sometimes resetting the NVRAM will let me boot Win10, but when I make the MacOS drive the default boot drive I can no longer boot into Win10.
The Win10 drive is one of two Samsung 970 EVO Pluses in a Syba I/O Crest SI-PEX40129 dual NVME PCIe card in slot 2, and the other NVME boots Sequoia. Latest OCLP is on an HDD in the front SATA bay of the cMP.
I did not have any issues dual booting until I upgraded MacOS from Monterey to Sequoia via Software Update in Settings. Besides resetting the NVRAM, I have reset the SMC and replaced the BM2032 battery.
