Recently I took my 2015 Retina 15" MacBook Pro, swapped the original 512 GB SSD for a 1 TB one, installed a Mac OS 12 Monterey system onto the SSD, and today started to work on a Boot Camp partition using my Windows 11 ISO. But when I try to install it, I keep getting the same error. The Boot Camp Assistant installs directly from an ISO file on the main drive after creating the partition, and I followed these instructions to bypass the TPM check, but when the installation goes forward, after restarting I get the blue "Why did my PC restart?" screen. Clicking "Next" will just make the PC reboot again and get to the "Why did my PC restart?" screen all over again, and will not detect any Wi-Fi networks or show any instructions when I click "Next". Of course, this is probably because there aren't any Wi-Fi drivers installed. I know I DID get a Windows 11 install done successfully on this system using the same steps, but I suspect something must've been changed with one of the recent versions of Boot Camp Assistant or the Windows 11 ISO.
I might try borrowing a USB-to-Ethernet or Thunderbolt-to-Ethernet adapter from work and see if that helps. I tried using my Thunderbolt display's Ethernet connection, and it would seem to work, until it gets to a "Back in a bit" screen and restarts, suggesting it failed.
Does anyone have any experience or advice for me here?
