In the hope that the sources of all knowledge, on this forum, can provide me with yet more help;

Can anyone describe installing windows 11, on a USB C external NVMe drive, on a Mac mini 2018 Sequoia 15.6.1 - 8,1?

Or where I could look for such an adventure?

Windows Install from Sergey works, in and of itself, with a success message after each attempted install.

- but when I restart the MacMini 8,1 with option key to choose either Win11 or it's EFI, I get a black screen, which eventually times out and restarts to Sequoia.

I'm picking that I need to install the bootcamp drivers, which I have ready and waiting, but the only way I've seen this done, is to boot into windows first, then install them, the black screen I'm getting, prevents this.

Windows Install from Sergey, has an option to copy files into the Win 11 install, but I have no idea where the Bootcamp files should be placed.

Anyone know this and can give me guidance?

Cheers

Or

I'll partition the 500gb internal SSD on the MacMini 8,1 and run both Sequoia and Win11(in Bootcamp) and use symbolic links for each install, to the large amounts of data on other SSDs for each.

Good idea? or No?

What fun...

I'm tempted to head down the bootcamp road today, but also, having retired the Mac Pro 5,1 - I may just look for a small form WIN PC as all I use Windows for, is extended flying of planes in DCS world.

mmmm....
