Windows 7 32 bit vs 64 and some questions

i currently have windows 7 installed 32 bit and im wondering if i install the 64 bit will i notice a biger diffrence? im currently running a intel core 2 duo 2ghz 2 gig of ram iMac. my final question is will i be able to run 32 bit aplications fine in windows 7 64 bit?

only if the app you wanna use needs 64bit drivers.

i had such a problem with one app for programming cas-interfaces.

therfore i have also one mac with 32bit win7 ..
