Hi there,

First post here, so bear with me if I leave out any obvious information. I'm running a 2008 macbook pro (2.5 ghz core 2 duo, 2 gb ram, Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT, etc.) with Leopard -- NOT Snow Leopard.

Anyway, I'm attempting to do a clean install of the Windows 7 home premium 64-bit student download. I've already managed to convert the download into an iso -- twice -- so I don't believe the problem lies with the disk itself. (I followed the process for that here: http://www.downloadsquad.com/2009/10/22/how-to-make-a-dvd-of-that-student-only-windows-7/)

So here's what happens after partitioning my HD and beginning the Windows install via boot camp: my computer restarts, Windows 7 begins to open files, I get the nifty Windows 7 startup screen, then everything goes black.

And that's it. I've tried it multiple times with 2 different burns of the iso (at 4x and 2x) and I've waited 10 minutes just to make sure I wasn't being impatient. Nothing. Any ideas?
