Hi Guys,
I know Windows 7 won't install on a Mac with a RAID array, so I managed to install it on a SSD by itself. Thing is, I can't seem to get Windows booting up without removing my RAID arrays physically. I had to remove them in order to install Win7 also. Anyone with any ideas why?
Running a 2010 MacPro. All 4 HDD bays with 2TB disks in a Striped Array. Used for fast access to data. OS (10.9.4) runs on a pair of striped OWC PCIE SSDs.
Windows 7 on a normal SSD, plugged in on spare SATA port below the SuperDrive. I can see the Win7 SSD when i boot into OSX. I can also see it as an option to boot to in the control panel as well during the boot up when holding the Option key.
Would appreciate any feedback.
