What is the battery life like running on windows 7? I'm going to primarily use the an air under windows but will it really lower the battery life? Can't seem to find this info in any of the reviews so far.

Why not just run MS-DOS or something like that? It doesn't take much CPU and it should give you great battery life :D

It cuts the battery life in half. There are application out there for Win 7 to help increase the life.

If you try OSXMame, you will see jusst how intense the throttling is on the Air. For these types of applications, Win 7 is your only option.

Lolwut? I'm running Windows 7 on my 11.6" Macbook Air and the battery life has gone from ~5 hours in OSX to ~4 hours in Windows 7. I wouldn't call that being cut in half. Plus I was using the balanced power plan too. If I used the power saver plan I bet I could get 5 hours out of it easily.
