From my university (Indiana State University) I have the option to download Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit. Kind of weird if you ask me, considering the last available download from the school was Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit. I have 24 GB of ram in my Mac Pro, and of course x86 only supports 2.98 of usable ram.

My question; Is there anyway possible to install Win 7 Enterprise 64 using a product id or product key from the 32 bit? I read somewhere where they could install the 32 bit just fine from the 64 bit disc, however I didn't find anything about the other way around.

AFAIK, the keys are useable in both x86 and x64.

Well the problem I have run across is that the enterprise 32 bit I received free from ISU does not ask for a serial nor was I ever given one. I have done research about finding the key and for some reason when I download any program to retrieve my key, it comes up as BBBBB-BBBBB-BBBBB-BBBBB-BBBBB, which clearly isn't correct.
