Hello. I have a mid 2010 MBP with Mavericks and 8 gb RAM. I just recently upgraded the Hard Drive to a 1TB SSHD. I wanted to dual boot windows 7 with my machine. I have set up the partition and tried to run the windows 7 ultimate 64-bit install and the first part goes smoothly.
After the first reset is where things go awry. I says "completing installation" and the computer seems to do okay here for a little bit but after about 3 minutes, it freezes and the mouse doesn't move. I've been all around the apple discussion forums and have gotten no replies and nothing that has worked for me.
I've tried taking out all USB connections, I have also tried ejecting the disc during the completion portion. Any ideas you have that can help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
A Concerned and Frustrated MBP User.
