I have been trying to install Windows 7 (god help me) Home Premium on my 24 inch iMac (OSX Lion) in Bootcamp. I have partitioned the HD and can run the installation up until I get the notification that windows is preparing for first use and then I get a drop down screen inviting me to enter details for the Account name but my wireless mouse and keyboard will not function and the cursor just blinks at me in the box "Type a user name". I have repartitioned and reinstalled four times now but all attempts 'freeze' at this point.
I successfully installed another copy of Windows 7 on my 27 inch iMac so I cannot understand why I am unable to complete the installation on my 24 inch machine. Any help would be appreciated.
