Windows 7 iphone Ethernet Driver not Found after uninstalling iTunes

I removed iTunes 10.4.10 and reinstalling it after removing everything using Windows Uninstaller cleaner... but it still shows the iPhone 3GS as ethernet network adapter not found. Any ideas?

So Windows doesn't install the Apple Mobile Device Driver? If that's the case, you may need to set it up on another machine and then try syncing with your problem machine.

My mother's iPad wouldn't get detected on a Win 7 machine until after it was setup.
