My iMac runs Snow leopard and I never had a problem with filesharing on it before. I set a folder to "Read only" by "Everyone" and anyone could see the folder on the network, anyone could see the computer on the network, and no one ever had any problems accessing the folder or it's files.

Tonight that all changed. My MBP running Windows 7 can no longer access the folder that I have said "Everyone" can "Read only."

Windows 7 now asks me in a window titled "Windows Security" to "Enter Network Password."

It used to not do that. I did not change anything. This is horrible.

I've scoured the web and my settings for anything that could have been flipped, but to no avail. My username and passwords are the same on my iMac and my MBP, for both partitions on each one. I can't log in using my account either.

I can see the iMac in Windows 7 under "Network" in windows explorer like before, but now I have this annoying pop-up when there just really shouldn't be one.

Horribly I used to be able to get full access to all my files by manually pulling up that login window and typing in my admin username and password. This username and password is the same for all 4 OSes of my 2 computers. Everything went swimmingly before 3 hours ago.
