Hi
Sorry if I repeat a question that has been asked before but I have been looking on Google and not really found an answer for my question. So I was hoping someone with more experience can help.
I am needing to install windows 7 on my Mac and Virtual machines do not seem to be working with the Hammer editor. Something to do with the graphics card. When resizing the the 3D screen it seems to copy or capture the back ground into the 3D screen and also the whole thing runs sluggish. I am disappointed by this I thought VMs were great but I guess not for the purpose I intend to use it for.
I have a 500Gb start up disk for OSX in drive bay 1 and a HDD in drive bay 2.
I was wondering is it possible to split up the hard drive in bay 2 so that I can install windows only on part of the HDD drive? So this would be something like 300-500GB of space for windows and the rest of the disk remains for the Mac, is this possible?
If so would I use boot camp? Or disk utilities?
I tried to make a disk partition on the HDD bay 2 using boot-camp but it did not show that drives partition on my OSX I am not sure why this is happening.
But does mention that when creating a partition in boot camp that I need to take out hard drives in the lower number bays. But hard bay 1 has the OSX,I also have HD in bays 3 and 4. But the HDD in bay 2 is the one I want to split so that I can place windows on, but still be able to use the other space that is not partitioned, be usable on the same drive on the Mac as well. Does this make sense.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thank you
