I know it is not supported via bootcamp, but I have been trying to get Windows 7 to install on a late 2015 iMac with a fusion drive. Should I give up on id there a secret out there I do not know?

You can only install Windows 7 on a late 2015 iMac by using virtual software: Parallels, VMWare, or the free VirtualBox. It all depends on what you intend to use Windows 7 for? Gaming? Just ordinary apps? Windows 7 runs great from a VM but is not good for gaming or any programs that need accelerated graphics.
