I installed Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit without a hitch via a Bootcamp partition. Then I tried to start a virtual machine in Parallels 5.0 using the bootcamp partition.
During Step 1 of 4 after starting the VM, a long delay then a windows screen saying "Your computer was unable to start" and Startup Repair is checking your system for problems... If problems are found, Startup Repair will fix them automatically. Your computer might restart several times during this process. etc.etc.
My Windows 7 partition boots fine under boot camp, and the Windows 7 install disk is unable to find any problems with the partitions. I am using Parallels 5.
I was on chat w/Parallels support last night for more than 2 hours and after nothing worked again and again and he couldn't do anything but blame it on the fact that "Apple doesn't fully support Windows 7 in BootCamp yet."
Can ANYONE help me out?
(BTW, I'm running Snow Leopard on an i5 w/8 GB RAM and have tried allocating 1-2 procesors & 2-4GB RAM)
