I downloaded Win7 64bit the other day on my OSX lion via bootcamp and partition my internal HDD to allow for 100GB for windows. I want to move some file from this 100GB HDD partition(while in windows boot) to my external harddrive but contantly receive the message "You do not have permission to move this item" I have also received the message "You do not have permission to delete this item" when trying to delete some files. I have never had this issue when using solely a windows based computer so maybe bootcamp has something to do with it? The user is an admin, ive tried 'run as administrator' etc. etc.

Help?

Thanks in advance,
Brendan

What is the external hard drive formatted as? Windows may be seeing the drive in a read only format. If so, yes it will toss an error on permissions.

exFAT, FAT to be seen by both OS's
