Hi

Howto install Windows 8.1 on MacBook Air 13" 2014

I have no CD ROM and other Windows device. As far as I know Microsoft only sells CD ROMs with Windows 8.1?

Microsoft sells digital downloads that you can create an ISO for. You can also create an ISO image from the optical disk.

I don't wish to register at Microsoft. I need a more "anoymous" solution.

BootCamp will allow you to create a Bootable Windows USB via an ISO image. To convert a DVD to an ISO image, you need to get a DVD reader and rip the image. You can do this on a Mac with a SuperDrive via Disk Utility.

HERE is a SuperUser guide.

If you don't have another computer or a SuperDrive, however, this isn't that helpful. Honestly, I would just borrow a Windows computer for the 15 minutes it takes to make a bootable USB and just do it that way.
